Hunter/Jumper, Hunt-Seat Equitation and Dressage lessons are available with head trainer, Marissa Brzescinski. Our students have enjoyed success at every level of competition from the local level to USEF/USDF rated shows to international competition. Marissa is a three-time coach of Special Olympics USA's national equestrian team, having coached the team to multiple gold, silver and bronze medals at the 2007 World Games in Shanghai, China, the 2011 World Games in Athens, Greece, and the 2015 World Games in Los Angeles.
Our style of teaching emphasizes the core principals of classical hunter seat equitation. We stress balance, rhythm, connection, and fun! Our goal is to create true partnerships between horse and rider. We understand that a confrontational style only frustrates and prefer a stress-free learning environment based on communication between teacher and student to build confidence and ability.
Lessons are available with your own horse, or you may ride one of Dixieland Farm's many outstanding schoolmasters. Our horses are chosen based on their excellent temperament, soundness, and ability. Horses are available for shows and clinics as well. We welcome students of all ability levels from age 7 & up.
Private One-Hour: Schedule upon request
Group One-Hour: $65 each or $240 for four lessons
Half-Hour Private: $65 each or $240 for four lessons
Students riding their own horse or leased horse get $5 off per lesson.
